Boat Ownership Clinic (ASA certification not applicable)

Course Objective

To learn the basics of boat ownership. After these two days on the boat you will most likely save 10 times the course cost because you made far fewer mistakes than you would have made in owning your first sailboat. This course is a requirement when joining a fractional sailing program.

Learn what to check before turning the ignition on that diesel engine.
Learn the new Electronic Navigation Equipment
Learn boat systems like electrical, plumbing and battery management.
Learn docking and undocking

Scheduling

You work with the instructor to schedule the days and times that will be best for you. Sessions are once a week for 2 weeks, but can be two days in a row if you choose. Class times are scheduled in four hour blocks, typically from 1pm to 5pm, but you may schedule them earlier or later if needed.
