Roger Philips - Roger was very cordial and professional. We enjoyed an excellent introduction to the boat and the check-in procedures and daily maintenance, and maneuverability of the boat in tight spaces and mooring. He taught us how to maneuver safely and effectively in busy weekend harbor traffic.
Mike Kohl - Mike was also easy-going and very professional, with a gift for teaching and explaining so that we could work together as a team and really understand and learn our sailing skills. He has the breadth and depth of experience to also convey a contagious love of sailing. He was a good listener, responsive to our needs and goals, and a discreet and easy presence onboard for the Catalina trip. It’s not necessarily easy to sail in close quarters with a teenager new to sailing. Mike handled all of those challenges with grace and humor.
